In the Classroom

Bible Curriculum Abundant Life Christian Academy is founded on the Word of God. Our students are taught the principles of God’s Word and how to apply it to their daily lives. Our students are encouraged to commit their lives to Jesus Christ and live a holy life surrendered to His will. Bible time is a daily part of the day. Students and faculty will come together once a week for worship and devotion. Each week our students are given a bible verse to memorize and commit to application.	Language Arts & Reading The Abeka reading program builds a strong foundation to develop skills that will assist in comprehension, vocabulary, and individualized instruction. The reading program provides intense phonics instruction, which drives results. The students will learn fundamental phonics skills and imperative character building traits.
Arithmetic & Mathematics The program is designed to teach and build arithmetic skills. We will use the spiral method, which ensures repetition of basic skills. We will emphasize problem solving skills and use basic math skills to develop deductive and inductive reasoning.	Science & Health The Science & Health program emphasizes God’s creation of the world. Students participate in hands on activities and learn basic principles and truths that will propel them into the future. Students will study areas that consist of plant and animal life; health and human biology; earth and space; matter and energy; and ecology and conservation.
History & Geography The History & Geography program records historical, Christian events from the Creation to present millennial. The Abeka History highlights patriotism, and influential people who have impacted our world. Students also learn important aspects of physical and political geography.
