God's Promise to Our Children
As parents, we want the absolute best for our children. From their toys, clothing, and food--right down to their home and their education--we stop at nothing to give them the best. We offer up our best to them to secure a far better future. As you look for the fruit of a better tomorrow, ask God to fulfill His promises for your children. In His word God says, “I will make an everlasting covenant with them. Their offspring shall be known among the nations, and their descendants in the midst of the peoples; all who see them shall acknowledge them, that they are an offspring the LORD has blessed.”( Isaiah 61:8-9)
God's promises have value and they are relevant, even today. As the news reports become more outrageous and depressing, our children of God experience amazing grace, salvation, restoration, and an unmovable peace. Isaiah 54:13 states, " And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be the peace of thy children." Because of your sacrifice to ensure they recieve the best Christian education, they will have great peace in a world that is unsettled and without peace. They will be taught of the Lord and they will be,"ten times wiser than the children of this world" (Daniel 1:20-21).
The belief that you have in God will trickle down to your children and they too will dream, beieve, and hope in the Lord as you begin to reach out by faith. Hold fast to God's promise and be encouraged that He will and always will be faithful to perform His word.
